The following are brief descriptions of the basic TimeSlice window parts. Most of these items are covered in greater detail in other chapters within this manual.
 
  Tool Bar. The icons across the top represent button shortcuts to the menu items.
  Status Indicator. Green means the timer is active, red means the timer is off, and yellow means the timer is paused. You can alternately set these to black, gray, and white by clicking on the Status Indicator.
  Total Marked Indicator. When the Indicator is visible, it means the totals are calculated from the marked time records. If the Total Marked Indicator is not visible, the totals are calculated from all timed records.
  Total Elapsed time from either all time records or from marked time records.
  Grand Total from either all time records or from marked time records (Grand Total equals Total Charge plus Total Expenses).
  On-line help. Move the cursor over any of the tool bar buttons to display information about the button. Click on the ? button to turn off the help messages.
  Total Paused time either from all time records or from marked time records.
  Total Charge either from all time records or from marked time records.
  Total Expenses either from all time records or from marked time records.
  Standard Macintosh Zoom window button.
  Number of time records in the current document.
  Charge Budget displays charge information if you've set a charge budget.
  Time Budget displays time information if you've set a time budget.
